Please, note that the leash is manufactured of selected quality genuine leather full grain material due to which it is durable, reliable and long serviceable. At the same time it is vulnerable to water as any other true leather product. Therefore it is recommended to keep it away from water contacts, radiators or fire places and other heat sources that can lead to overdrying and cracking as the result. Its life can be prolonged by using special leather conditioners or sprays, while water repellent can make it more resistant to water. If you are going to use it in rainy weather, lubricate it with water repellent first. However, remember that usage in rainy weather is not desired. The leash is stitched for increased strength and better service. Comfortable leather handle protects hand from rubbing.
Floating ring and the snap hook are crafted of brass and they are corrosion and rust resistant. The surface is smooth and polished. It may require polishing in future. However, metal parts can be cleaned with wet and then dry cotton napkins in usual home conditions.
